Richard has over twenty five years of senior management experience, which grew from strategic planning to varied management assignments. Richard is acutely knowledgeable in the implementation and continuous management of technologies required to successfully manage in today's environment. Technologies such as computer integrated management systems, enterprise software and hardware applications and demand flow technology.
He began his career at the General Electric Company where he held a variety of increasingly responsible manufacturing management positions. He was recruited by the Digital Equipment Corporation, rapidly rising through the ranks from New Products Manager to Operations and Plant Management positions. During this period, he developed and implemented state of the art methodologies which produced some of the fastest production ramps and new product introductions in the company's history. He left Digital Equipment Corporation to assume the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at Stanley Air Tools Corporation. In 2000 Richard joined Deloitte & Touche as a Global Supply Chain and Lean Manufacturing partner for Oracle Applications. From 2004 through 2007 he held the position of Global Supply Chain Engineering Manager for the Intel Corporation. Currently Richard is the President and Managing Principal of Tec Global Inc.
Richard holds a Master's Degree from Cambridge College, Cambridge Massachusetts in Business Administration and has a Minor in Manufacturing Engineering (1986). He is also a graduate of the General Electric Company Management Training Program. In addition, he has published in Fortune, Assembly Engineering and Automated Materials Handling periodicals. Michael Waithe, Managing Principal Michael has over 25 years of Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing experience. He has held senior management positions at Intel and the General Electric Corporations. Leading large scale business transformations in Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics and Global Supply Chain management. He has held significant management positions leading the development and implementation of Business and Engineering Strategies and moving from Strategy to Action to enable extensive processes innovations resulting in over $130 M in cost savings to Intel business units and its customers. He has led research programs with major Universities including Stanford, MIT, Georgia Tech and Arizona State University, where he developed pioneering business management solutions and Supply Chain Strategies to move the company One Generation ahead of the competitors. Michael is presently Vice President and Managing Principal for Tec Global Inc, international operations.
Michael has a BSME (Hons) from UWI – St. Augustine, a MBA from ASU - Tempe AZ, and a MS in International Logistics & Supply Chain Strategy’s from the Georgia Institute of Technology – Atlanta. His Professional affiliations include INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences), the Supply Chain Council and CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals). Michael has presented on Supply Chain at conferences and workshops in the US, Europe and Asia.
